職人の技術を求めるポケットを縁取る一筆縫いのナローステッチは、隠しリベットを囲うようにギリギリのラインをなぞり、しかも、そのポケット口の端にくる生地の重なりは、しっかりと盛り上がりを殺さずに縫い込まれています。
また、ポケット有効口部分についても、2本のステッチの間に折込み位置を置くためステッチ間に盛り上がりが生まれます。
この２つのつながりのある重厚なディテールは、長年の着用により存在感あるエイジングとして特有の色落ちを見せてくれるのです。
さらに、右後ポケット左上に挟み込まれる「S.GOLD」の文字が織り込まれたレーヨン素材のピスネームも、シラけて縮みが入る憎らしいエイジングのパーツとしてオリジナルで製作しています。
なんとなく見過ごしてしまいそうな、こうした１つひとつは、ほんの小さな拘りを確実に積み重ねること、そして、金鉱を掘るツルハシを表現したストライクゴールドのオリジナルバックステッチと相まって、生き生きとした表情の“らしさ”となっていくのです。
